Diversity & Inclusion

Building better systems starts with genuine inclusion. We actively seek diverse perspectives in how we work across our international projects and in how we coach.

Our Commitment

sherlock. & GRAY was founded on the principle of Building Better Systems, for organizations and for the people within them. We believe structural readiness and operational clarity can only be achieved when diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and ways of thinking are genuinely included in the process. This applies as much to how we work internally as to how we advise the clients we serve.

Our Current Position
sherlock. & GRAY currently operates as a founder-led consultancy. As the organization grows and begins to engage subcontractors, associates, or staff, the principles outlined below will guide how we build our team.

Our Commitments in Practice

1. Fair and Open Engagement
When engaging associates, subcontractors, or future employees, we evaluate candidates on merit, expertise, and fit, actively seeking a diverse pool of candidates regardless of gender, nationality, age, or background.

2. International, Cross-Cultural Foundation
Our work spans Germany, Thailand, Turkey, and Cyprus, across construction, hospitality, retail, investment, and automotive sectors. This cross-cultural foundation shapes how we design systems and coach leaders — with an explicit awareness of differing organizational cultures, communication styles, and lived experiences.

3. Inclusive Coaching Practice
In our coaching work with leaders, we actively surface blind spots related to bias, representation, and inclusion as part of building stronger, more resilient leadership.

4. Transparent, Merit-Based Terms
Pricing, scoping, and engagement terms are based on the work itself, applied consistently regardless of client or partner characteristics.

5. Ongoing Review
This statement is reviewed annually and updated as sherlock. & GRAY grows, to ensure it reflects our actual practice rather than a static declaration.
