What is an AI readiness assessment?

A decision document, not a technology review. It answers one question: can this organization carry the thing you are about to buy, and if not, what has to change first.

It differs from a vendor assessment in what it is allowed to conclude. A vendor checks whether their tool fits. Our answer can also be: buy nothing yet.

Why do AI projects stall in the pilot phase?

Because the pilot runs in a clean room and the company does not. Once a tool touches the real operating model, it meets the contradictions that were always there: unclear ownership, work that gets done twice, decisions that wait.

Structure decides the outcome. If it is unclear, technology accelerates the confusion. If it is stable, it accelerates performance. That is why an ai transformation is an organizational question long before it is a technical one.

Do we need an AI strategy before we choose tools?

Yes, and it is shorter than most people expect. An ai strategy names what the company wants to be true afterwards, which decisions should get faster, and who owns the result.
